Who we are
This notice is published by BJS CONSTRUCCIONES S.A.S (NIT 901.904.914-5), Carrera 3D Norte # 19-08 A, San Gabriel, Cartago, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. Contact: wcvarq@hotmail.com, +57 317 746 0224.
It covers the House in Stages app for Android and explains what happens to the information you enter in it.
02
What this notice covers
The notice covers the app on your phone: the rules, stages and pictures it shows, the projects you keep in it, and the ways it hands a brief to you to send.
03
Rules, stages and pictures in the app
The starting points, room templates, stages, wet-season months, licence guide, document list, reference bands and pictures are part of the app. They are shown without any network connection and reveal nothing about you.
04
The projects you keep
For each project you can save a name, the starting point, the finish level, the planned start month and a status (draft, sent, visit agreed). You can keep several projects.
05
Lot and existing house details
The app stores the lot’s frontage and depth, whether it is a corner lot, and for an existing house its floors, ground-floor area, state and whether it had a licence, as you enter them.
The app does not ask for the address of the property, its registry number or any document number.
06
Rooms and floor areas
The app stores the rooms you list with their area and floor, and the allowance for walls and circulation, and works out the area of each floor from them.
07
Stages, months and the budget
The app stores the start month, the length, any pause before each stage and the stages you mark as done, and works out the months, the wet-season warnings and the reference budget.
08
Permits and the document checklist
The app stores your answers to the licence questions and the state you give each document (not yet, asked for, ready). It never stores the documents themselves.
09
Your name and phone in a brief
A brief can include your name, a phone number, the neighbourhood and notes, so that BJS Construcciones S.A.S. can reply and plan a visit. You type them yourself and they are optional.
10
Where your data is stored
Everything you enter is stored in the app’s private storage on your phone, in a database other apps cannot read.
Android backup and device transfer are turned off for the app, so this data is not copied to a cloud backup or another phone.
11
No account, no cloud copy
The app has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. Nothing is synchronised and no copy exists outside your phone unless you send it.
12
What the app does not collect
The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or usage statistics, and it contains no analytics or advertising code.
13
No internet access
The app does not request the Android internet permission. It cannot send anything by itself.
14
Sending a brief by email
When you tap Email, the app opens your own email app with the brief written in and addressed to BJS Construcciones S.A.S.. Nothing is sent until you press send there.
15
Sharing, copying and calling
Share opens the Android share sheet so you choose the app that sends the brief. Copy puts the brief on the clipboard.
Call opens your phone app with BJS Construcciones S.A.S.’s number filled in; the call is made only if you start it. Official sources open in your browser only when you tap them.
16
The send history
Each time you email, share or copy a brief, the app stores the time and the channel, so it can show when the project was last sent and whether it changed since.
A brief you send reaches BJS Construcciones S.A.S. through the channel you used. BJS Construcciones S.A.S. uses it to reply and to plan a technical visit. Ask BJS Construcciones S.A.S. directly how long it keeps messages.
17
Your choices and rights under Colombian law
You can edit, duplicate or delete projects at any time, and uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your phone. Deleting a project does not recall a brief you already sent.
Under Colombian data protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012 and Decreto 1377 de 2013) you can ask BJS CONSTRUCCIONES S.A.S to know, update, correct or delete the personal data you sent, and you can complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC). Send such requests to wcvarq@hotmail.com.
18
Changes and contact
If the app changes how it handles data, this notice is updated in a new version of the app and on the website, with a new effective date.
